Indiegogo is an online crowdfunding platform, but what is it all about and how can you get involved to create change? Keep reading and find out below!

How can Indiegogo help you?

Indiegogo is a platform that gives entrepreneurs the chance to turn their ideas into reality by providing a place where they can launch new products and ideas. Millions of people visit the site looking for new and exciting ideas that can solve everyday problems. They can also find the latest innovations in tech and design before they become mainstream. Since Indiegogo started in 2008, visitors to the page can read the stories that inspired entrepreneurs to start their projects, evaluate every stage of product development, assess potential risks associated with the project and fund ideas they want to see succeed. Supporting a crowdfunding project on platforms like Indiegogo means helping a project that is it still a work-in-progress and carries some risk, but in return you are receiving perks such as products, services or events as a thank you for your contribution. How is FunDonor using the Indiegogo platform?

Indiegogo and FunDonor share the same values and a mission to empower people everywhere to create change and bring ground-breaking products and ideas to life. Like FunDonor, the idea for Indiegogo came from personal stories, as the founders built upon their own struggles to get funding for their projects. We’ll be running a live crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to support the creation of our own platform which will see young people and influencers come together to help raise money for charity.
